Seasons of Love

Today was Rachel and my 6 month aniversary.

I was talking to Rachel yesterday in the car when I went to drop her off. I told her that I couldn't believe that we had been going out for six months, it seems like only yesterday that we started going out. And she said said she agreed, but that she also felt that we had been going out forever. I feel the same way. Einstein really had it right when he said that time is relative. Although, I'm sure that this wasn't the type of situation he intended for it to be used.

It really is amazing that I found someone as awesome as Rachel. She is exacly the person I have been looking for. Smart, funny, laid back but not lazy, and beautiful. It really is amazing how two people can just click.

Some people are stupid!!!

Tonight I was driving home after taking Rachel home and I saw one of the stupidest things ever.

Tonight it snowed a little, no more than an inch or two. So, I turn the corner and see a truck driving around on in the yard with it's lights on. This seemed a little odd so i decided to stop for a second and take a look. The truck is driving in circles, pulling a kid in a shopping card behind it. Can you get any stupider than that. i won't be surprised if I hear an EMS tone for that house tonight.

The Best Weekend... In A Long Time

Well, school started back up and running last week and it is off to a good start. I really like my "classes this year. I only have 1 real class (College Psychology) and my other classes are very easy. We only had a three day week the first week of school.

So, things didn't work out with Jen G. we are broken up now, but i think we will still be friends. She seems like she would be a good friend, but she is certainly not a good girfriend. Alteast she can admit it though.

last weekend was the Spencer fair and it was awesome. I really love going because I get to hang out with my current firneds, and see some of my old ones. I usally see all of my friends at some point during the fair. Friday i went to the fair all day and totally forgot to put on suntan lotion, so I am pretty burnt right now... it sucks. Friday night I hung out with Steph and watched the demo derby which was pretty good, but I was disapointed that there were no fires.

Saturday I didn't get there until right befor the Demo Derby started, fortunatly Adam and Jess were nice enough to save me a seat. After the Demo I ended up bumping into Rachel and the rest of the band kids. I hung out with all of them the rest of the night, but espetially Rachel.

Sunday I went to my cousin's graduation part in Marshfield, it's like 2hours away. Then I hurried home so that I could go to the Spencer Fair and hang out with Rachel, who I was really starting to like.

Monday I spent the whole day at the fair with Rachel!!! I watched the marching band perform, and they were awsum! After that we went to put Rachel's instrument back in my car. Then we went to watch the Demo. We ended up sitting with Mike and some other people from Big Y, it was a really good time. me and Rachel held hands the whole time, YAY. After that we met up with my mom so that she could take Sarah and take her home. I didn't mind hanging out with her for the most part, but she was really annoying after the Band performance. Once Sarah went home me and Rachel went on our own, we got some fryes and sat on the hay bails near the arial acrobats thing :P We just sat there and talked for a long time, and made fun of the carnies. It was really a lot of fun. After sitting and talking for a while, I leaned in and kissed her. I wasnt sure how she would react, but she seemed to be interested. After we were done I decided that it would be the right time to ask her out, so I did. And she said Yes!!!! I was so happy, and then I kissed her again :) It was one of the best night I've had in a really long time. I have been going out with Rachel for a few days now and I am really happy with her. I really like her a lot and I hope that this relationship lasts a long time.

Thats all for now

I always seem to post late at night...

So, as expected Jen only wants to be friends. I really didn't expect any other responce, espetially after talking to Steph. O well, I would rather tell her how I felt and have her reject me then keep the feelings inside. Life goes on, I just wish someone would like me as more than a friend.

This week has been quite interesting and exciting. I worked A LOT this week starting sunday with a 9 hour shift. I will get a lot of pay though. I also trained to be a Head Cashier this week. I'm all done, it really isn't that hard after learning the booth. It is a lot more responsibility though. I was training on Saturday with Peter, and that was one of the most tiring days in recent memory. It was saturday morning, our busiest day. And on top of it, I had to be there at 8 a.m. the earliest I have been up all summer. We trained a bunch of new cashiers in the past few weeks. I love when we get new cashiers because they always have problems and it is fun to help them fix them.

I also got Wes a job at the store this week. YAY.

>> Fast forward to today >>

I woke up at a reasonable hour today, which made me happy. I got dressed then went to take my movie back and bring Wes to get his work permit. After that we went to "Community Police and Fire Equipment" in Oxford. That was a fun trip. I went to get a CPR mask. I also ended up buying some EMT pants which are really awesome. I was going to buy some scissors and a stethoscope, but they only had pink ones, not interested. O well. I am going to go back soon and get some more stuff. Later we went to the mall... lots of gas used... etc.

I'm way too tired to post, as you ,ay be able to tell. More tomorrow.

...And I'm Dying To Tell You, That I love you

OK, this is an entry that I have been thinking about for a long time. And I think I finally got up the guts to write it down. And tell her how I feel.

As many of you know, there is this girl at work, who I have really liked for a long time. She knows who she is. Ever since the first time I met her, almost two years ago, I senced a connection. We have been working togeather for a long time, and we have a really good relationship... as friends. I really want it to go to the next level though. The problem: I don't have any idea if she likes me back or not. I'm really bad at this stuff, I can never tell if people like me back or not, that seems to be my major issue.

Since I have known her, I have grown a lot I wold say. Knowing her has really had an influence on my personal, and spiritual life. Seeing how string she is in her faith has made me much stronger in mine. (this entry isn't going as well as I had planned) Anyway, I know that she really doesn't date, but I am hoping that when she gets home from camp and reads this, that she will give me a call and tell me that she would make an exception for me. If not, then it wasn't meant to be. (please let me know either way) I know she is going away to college soon, but i don't care. We will just have to wait and see.

Pray for me :)

Blah...

Today was a pretty boring day, you know: school, work, etc.

I woke up this morning, late as always to bring myself and my brother's to school. School was pretty boring as usual. In schience Mr. Oliver spent the whole time going over something that I didn't understad anyway. So I spent the whole class trying to put on of the essay's on my computer. i hard task considering that most of the problems involve pictures. I had to draw them on my computer and it took forever. I wasn't able to finish and it was taking way too long, so I wrote the rest down on a piece of paper wich I will hopefully put on the computer tomorrow. Then my laptop ran out of battery, so even if I wanted to I couldn't have finished. At the end of third block I get a call from work on my cell phone. They want me to come in early, as usual, but they wanted me to run the front, which I enjoy, so of corse I agreed.

After school I had a yearbook meeting, where we talked about our theme for next year. I am really exited about it. I think we're supposed to keep it a secret right now, so that is what I am going to do. I am one of the staff photographer's for the yearbook. I am really excited about doing that, and getting to get into all of the sports games for free. Plus, I love taking pictures, so I dont mind at all. The hard part, of corse, is going to be getting all those days off from work. I will manage.

Some of the yearbook staff stayed to burn CD's for the suplement. i had to leave right away though because, as I said before, they called me in to work early. I wouldn't have time to go home, so I wanted to get to work in time to have something to eat. I ended up eating McDonald's and when I was finished I still had a half hour til I was supposed to start, I couldn't believe it. So I waited around, then got to work.

Running the front went quite smoothly, there were no major problems except for the fact that someone decided to come in late. Not by much, but just enough to create a problem. His loss, he got marked in late. The rest of work went pretty well. I was training Amanda in the booth, she is doing really good. Someone put an extra book of tickets in and didnt leave a note, so it kept coming out wrong. eventually Peter found the problem and after theat everything went relatively smoothly. I think I tought Amanda a lot, she is really eager to learn, which is great. I think she will do an awesome job. There is so much to learn in the booth, you don't even realize it until you have to teach someone else to do it. I didn't even get through half of what I wanted to show her. O, well she has pleanty more training to go, and I am with her on Saturday again so I can see how she is progressing.

That's all for now. Hi Jackie!

A Post a Month...?

I know, I know. I haven't blogged in a while, I feel bad about it, but Jackie is the only one who reads this thing anyway. i am going to try to update on a more regular basis from now on. I will spare you the recounting of my life since my last post and skip foreward to today. Suffice to say that I'v been very busy.

Today started out normal. I got up and got ready for school. I got up late as usual. I went to go to school and started not to feel good, but I had to bring my brother and Wes to school, so I couldn't go right home. When I'm on my way to Wes' house Laura calls me on my cell phone and tells me that she missed her bus again and needs a ride. I told her I'd be there soon. What a good friend, right? So I pick up Wes and Laura and go to school. I decide that I feel bad enough to not go to school. I called my dad and he said it would be okay if I went home. I really didn't want to miss today because finals are this week, and I'm sure that I missed some important information. O well, I will get it tomorrow.

It was nice to come home early for a change, espetially considering that I didn't have to work today. It was a real day off, for once. So I canme home and watched some T.V. and did some PHP programing, I am almost done with one of the project's I am working on, so I am pretty excited about that. I am having trouble getting the UPDATE query to work and it is making me really angry. I swill have to finish work on that Visual Basic program for work too, I haven't really touched it in months.

Later on i decided to go to Staples. I had been the day befor to pick up some Sharpie(r) Mini's(tm), but when I got home I realized that some idiot had partially removed that cap on the black one I bought, thus completely frying it out. i was kinda mad. That's why I went back today, to get a new one. I exchanged the "broken" one for a fully functional one, and I also bought a new one for extra insurance. Go me! On the way home from Staples it poured like I have never seen before. I could barely see five feet in front of me, I was forced to go like 20 miles per hour.

So, I get home and relax for a couple hours, the Sarah calls because I forgot, again, to pick her up. I had to bring her to the High School because she is going to be playing in the band. I can't understand how I keep forgeting her, but I do. Today, the most likely reason is that since i didnt go to school, i wasn't thinking about picking anyone up from school. I go and get her, and bring her to the High School with plenty of time to spare. I hung around for a while because a lot of my friends are in the band, so I like to hang out with them. Alisha was mad at Steve which made her quite unpleasant to be around, so I left. I can understand she was mad at Steve and everything, but that's no reason for her to not even give me a hug, I was kind of mad.

Later I went to Big Y to visit Amanda because it was her first day working in the Service Desk. I am so excited for her, and so is she. I am training her tomorrow, and I can't wait. She seems to be doing quite well, She is, of course nervous, bu who wouldn't be. I was leaving the store and getting ready to go home and I saw Dez and so I waved. i was going to get in my car and she beeped at me, so I got out to see what she wanted. Which was just to say, "Hi", but that was okay, i didn't mind. Laura was also there and I was very glad to see her, it has been such a long time since we've hing out.

All in all I had a pretty interesting day. Hope you enjoyed hearing about it.

P.S. - I miss Jen and Steph, I hope they come back soon.
