This Disaster

Today was Crazy.

Ugh, my mom woke me up so early this morning. Around 7:30. She was leaving for her camping trip and she wanted to say googbye to me. Also, she wanted me to show her how to use my climbing equipment so that they can hoist there food and trash up into a tree at night, so bears won't come to their camp site. After she left i tried to get to sleep, it took a while, but eventually i got back to sleep. I woke up again around 11 or 12 and came online and had breakfeast.

Around 1 or so i decided that i should go to the theatre. I got there and i got out of the truck and i hear this "ssssssssssss" sound comeing from the truck. I looked around and found out that it was coming from the left-front tire. There were two nails in it. I must have run over then on the way through the theatre parking lot which is mostly dirt and random debree. The leak was pretty bad, bad enough that i could hear it as i said. i knew that there was some "fix-a-flat" in the glove compartment. i read the directions on the can, and used it. It didn't seem to stop the air form coming out so i decided to drive to a service station and see what they can do.

The first place i came along was a gas station, so i decided to stop and ask abou there prices. The guy told me that to patch it, it would cost about $12-$15. The guy looked at the tire. It turns out that the puncture was right where the sidewall meets the top of the tire, so there is no way they can patch it. I asked him if he had a tire that would fit so i could buy a new one. He didn't, but he said there was a place down the street that might.

I got to the other place, they didn't have a tire that would fit either. i called my dad to ask him what he thought i should do, he said i should just have the garage put the spare on. I thought that sounded like a good idea, it would take me a lot longer to do it myself. OS the guy does it, it takes him about 2 min. It only cost me $8, so i think it was worth it. The people at the repair show were really nice to me, i didn't have to wait or anything.

After i got the tire fixed i went back to the papermill, this time (and from now on) i parked in the paved parking lot. I went into the theatre to look for Mat, he wasnt there. I decided to call adam, i needed to ask him to ask the band director if we could use one of their Source4's at the theatre for the summer. We are trying to rent as little as possible this summer. We rented 2 scrollers for the PAR 64's and a moving mirror attachment for our non-existant Source4.

Wen i was done talking to Adam i went to talk to the new sound guy. He is way too organized it scares me. He dosen'd really know what he's doing when it comes to the actual operation of the equipment. I had to show him how to use many of the features on what i thought was a pretty strait-forward sound board. Watever. lol.

When i was done at the theatre i went to the grocery store. i got some good stuff, it didn't cost that much either. Then i went home and watched some TV and wrote in my blog.

Sleeping With The Television On

Today was good, a lot less boreing

Today i woke up at 11:09, why do i rembmer that? Because i want to that;s why. When i woke up i came on the computer and talked to some people and working on my blog again. If anyone has anything to say about the new background e-mail me.

Around 12:00 my mom got here. She is staying here tonight. She is on her way to a comping trip, and it is a shorter drive from here than home. When my mom got here we unpacked the car and went to a resteraunt for lunch, It was very good. I has a grilled cheese and she had a fried fish sandwich. After that we went to the bank and cashed some rolls of coins. We also went to the Post office and got a P.O. box. Then we went to the video store and rented "50 First Dates" It was very good, and so hillarious. I'm not going to do a full review on it though because i assume most of you have already seen it.

i droped my mother off at home after we ran our errands and headed out for the theatre. I needed to talk to Mat about what was going on with my Spot Op. job. It took me a while to find him though. I wasled across the stage, but i didnt see him. So, i went to the show to ask where he was. Jen said that he might be over at the coffee shop or at the office. So i wald over in the cold rain and look around for him. I can;t find him so i decided to go back to the theatre and wait for him. When i got back he was there. We talked for a while about the job and about the plot for this year. He was working on the channel layout, but he was having a lot of trouble because we don't have enough dimmers.

After i finished talking to Mat i went up to the stage to see what was going on. It turns out the new sound designer was there, and he was having some problems finding everything. I helped him out. He seems like a kewl guy, he know just about every programing alnguage including c and c++. I also me the scenic painter and master electirican, they're both very nice girls. I dont know either of there names yet though. While i was there the chilldrens theatre stage manager also stopped by, she seemed ver nice, but she seemed a little lost.

Once i was done at the theatre i came home and my mom decided we should get pizza. So my mom called the pizza place to order, and i went and got it. It was good, much better than the pizza i got the other day, i think i might have taken one of the garlic pieces by accident last time. Then me and my mom talked for a long while. It was good we haven't really talked like that in a long time. We then decided that it would be a good idea if we went upstairs and went our seperate ways, so we did.

Outie.

Tonight i watched some good tv and talked to Angie online for a while which i enjoyed, i only wish she would stay on longer.

Tomorrow my mom is coming up which should be fun. Also, i am going to go over to the theatre to get this whole job thing worked out. Then i might go look for some other jobs :-)

OK, so we want you back

Today, more boredom, movie, something interesting.

Today i woke up around ummm... 11:00 or so, i think. I watched some wierd show on MTV for a while, and the i had something to eat. MMMM, poptarts.

Later i watched "Last Comic Standing" on Comedy Central. I enjoyed it even though i had alread seen one of the episodes. After that i watched a stand up comedy marathon which was hillarious.

After that i went to the stor to buy some "Plasticware" and milk. And the Milk is SOOOOO expensive up here, it's amazing. Then i went to the movies. Here's my review:

<"Start Movie Review"> The Stepford Wives

My Rating:

THis is a remake of the 1975 cult fave by the same name. This version, however, offers much less suspence. Acctually, it offers no suspence. It almost seems like they were trying to make it a comedy, but failed miserably. There were some one liners thata were quite funny. But the movie as a whole just didnt hold a candle to the origional. The only thing that this movie has in commor with the origional is the fact the woman are made into robots.

The movie started out interestingly enough, with the main charecter (Nicole Kidman) nearly being killed by an irate ex-contestant of one of the Reality television shows that the network she works for produced. That was my favorate part, lol. The movie picks up in the middle, but dies agian in the end. They try to throw an interesting plot twist in there at the end, but it is poorly masked and quite obvious. over all i though the move was tolerable, but not worth the money. Go find something else (may i recoment "The Terminal").

<"End Movie Review">

After i got out of the movies i was driving home i saw my good friend Mat from the theatre sitting outside on the back of his pickup. So, i decided to stop and say "Hi" as i was driving over i realized that he was on the phone, and that it night not be such a good time. But at this point it was too late to turn around, so i just parked next to him and waited. After he got off the phone we had a good conversation, we talked some more about the plot for this year. It sounds like he has some really good ideas. They are going to use a lot of heavy color washes, and just cover the leads with spot. It should be very different and interesting. Then Kim (the artistin direct) shows up, she seems like she is in a hurry, but needs to talk to me. She askes Mat if he's told me yet. He said "No". So she tells me that they are looking for another Spot Op. and are interested in having me back for a third season. I was not surprised by this, that is basicly the same way i got hired the first season. I think i will enjoy this job this summer. It will be a lot less work than last summer, and less spending endless hours at the theatre doing nothing. I think i will like it a lot better. I am Still looking for another job tho.

Then i got home of corse. I talked to my mom on AIM and then on the phone. We had a good conversation, i told her about my day, and she told me about hers. It was a good conversation. After i hung up with my mom, i texted Angie and asked her to come online. To my surprise she said she would. So i waited for her for a few minuetts, then i got sidetracked doing who knows what on the internet, i don'e even remember what it was. After about a half hour i was like WTF where is Angie. It turns out that she had been IMing me, and even send me a text message. Unfortunatly i didnt hear the phone, and AIM didnt tell he that she was IMing me. I think she was a little mad at me for that, she IMed me for like 10 min, before signing off. I send her some text messages saying sorry. Then she called me, i appolagized, i dont know what she thought of it. I couldn't talk to her though because my phone was roaming, but hopefully i will talk to her tomorrow.

Well that all for me. ciao.

We're movin on!

Firiday I arive Saterday i Sit

I arrived in New Hampshire Fri. around 1. The drive up was very good, kinda long, but still good. I like driving a lot better than riding up, makes the ride go a lot faster. It rained most of the way up. i love it up here, it's so beautiful. Afer we got here we got everything settled in and went to McDonalds for dinner. After that we were kinda bored, i drove to the movie's to see what was playing. I found out that The Terminal was playing. I'v been wanting to see that. We decided to see it at 9:00 PM. Here's the Scoop:

<"Start Movie Review"> The Terminal

My Rating:

The Movie was very good. It just wasnt what i expected. i though, because of the trailer, that it was going to be a full fleged comedy. It was funny, but it certainly was not a comedy. It was more of a love story, a very screwed up love story, but still a love story. Tom Hanks was amazing in this film. It has to be one of the most dificult roles i'v ever seen anyone play.

<"End Movie Review">

Today was great. I woke up around 9:30 ate something and then took a shower. After i took the shower i went back to bed. Next think i know i was wakeing up again and it was 2:30 PM. It was a little wierd because i usualy don't take naps. i must have been really tired.

After i got my butt in gear i had an Egg McMuffin and watched some tv. Later today i decided to go War Drivng i only found about 7 or 8 WAP's so i got bored. i decided to go to the theatre to see if anyone was around.

To my surprise Austin and some of the other carpenters were sitting outside. I decided to say hi. He told me that Mat was out back in the shop and that i could go say hi if i wanted. Mat was the head electrician last year, and i was an electrician so we were pretty good friends. i went back to the shop and found Mat and Jen back in the Tech. office. I was really glad to see them, and i think they were glad to see me too. It's always good seeing people you haven't seen in a long time. We all spent the whole summer last year togeather, and i mean the wholoe summer, like 24/7. Everyone's doing good and im glad about that. Mat shaved his head, i was very surprised. He told me before he shaved it he had a Mowhawk, so that's pretty kewl. We talked about last summer, and about what we were doing during the year.

This year Mat is doing the lighting design, which is very kewl. I'm sure he will do a very good job. I can't wait to see the show's this year. They don't open until July 17th though, so it's gonna be a while. I'm sure i'll see them again before that.

After seeing everyone at the theatre i went to get pizza. It wasn't very good, i was surprised because the pizza from this place is usualy very good.

Well im gonna go... it's late. Outie.

'You've got a friend in Pennsylvania'

Today was sweet...

I woke up around 9 today... umm i think. As soon as i work up my mom asked me to go to the store and get Maple Syrup because she was going to make pankakes. So i went to the store, i like going because i get to see my friends. No one i really knew was there tho, it made me sad. But i found the syrup and brought it home and my mom made the pankakes, even though i didnt eat any of them.

After i got home i sat around for a while. Than it was time to go. I had to bring my mom to college so she could meet her guidence counseler and bring back some library book. I dropped her off at the counselers office, and went to bring back the book. Unfortunatly my mom didn't give me very good directions. She said go on the main road and you will see the library, it's a round building. So we look around for a while. We see a circular building, but it isn't on the main road, and isn't called the library. When we don't find any other circular buildings so we decide to investigate the other one further. I couldn't find a place to park so i had to send my sister in by herself to return the book, while i waited outside for her. She returned the book with no problems, this turned out to be the library. It was acctually called the 'Student Information Center' WTF. So i try to find my way back to the other building. Needless to say i don't know the capus very well. I found a way that i thought was a way back to the building. Turns out to be a pedestrian path, but it seems wide enough, so i went that way anyway. I sat in the parking lot for about 20 min. waiting for my mom... While i was sitting there i was reading a book i borrowed from Wes called The Art of Deception by Kevin Mitnick. After that my mom came out and Angie called and we went to pick her up.

It took a long time to get to Angie's house. It's about an hour away. I drove there. We got to Angie's house and she wasn't quite ready so we waited for her in the living room and played with her bird. It is just about the kewlest bird i have ever seen.

We went to the mall and saw Shrek 2. It was an awsum movie. It was so funny. I loved it. Then we went to the food coart and had something to eat. I had some pizza and it was very good.

After we ate we went back to drop Angie off and to meet her mother. My mom said that we were not going to stay very long. She was wrong of corse. We stayed for about 45 min. We met her mother, she was a little odd, but very nice, i liked her. Me and Angie hung out and she showed me around her house. We had time to exchange one goodbye kiss. I will not be able to see her more than twice this summer. I like her so much, and i am going to miss her a lot.

After we drove the hour home from her house, i started packing. I am going up north tomorrow, for the whole summer. It will be a long drive, about three hours. I have never driven that far in one shot. It should be interesting. Well goodnight.

This Food's Made For Walking

Wow today was a crazy day, but awsum. So, awsum.

It started out like any other day, with me not wanting to get out of bed. Mornings are definately my least favorite part of the day. I hate getting up.

So we went to church at 10:30 and mass was good. after mass i saw Nicole and she informed me that i was not in her profile. this made me quite happy. She put one of my quotes on her funny wuotes page too... Heres the convo:

Nicole: Kyle i need your helm
Me: Does it involve Your Mom
some other pointless conversation
Nicole: OK, i will tell my mom your thinking of her
Me: Thanx

Thats the jist of it, it was so funny. Some people may no think so, but i do.

After church i decided that needed to buy a new amplifier for my sound system. We were going to be getting some new Subs, and had no way to power them. I didn't have any money so i asked my dad if i could borrow some, and he said yes. I also decided to cash in my old amp. to help pay for the new one. The new one is about 10x more powerful than the old one so i decided it was worth my while.

On my way to the store i got lost because my mom gave me bad directions. She forgot to tell me that i had to take a right somewhere, and i ended up going a little out of the way. After calling her, i figured out where i went wrong. I backtracked and eventually got to the store.

I went in and asked the guy what there trade inpolicy was. And the first thing he asked me was if i was 18. Bummer you have to be 18 to trade equiopment in. But ok i still have enough for the amp right? Well i would have, accept they didnt have the one i wanted in stock. I would have had to go all the was out there again tomorrow to pick it up. They did, however, have the model up from the one i wanted. Bad news, i didn't have enough on me for that one. So, i decided to go to the bank.

I get to the bank and there is this old guy and his friend in fromt of. They couldn't figure out how to use the ATM machine. Eventually they just let me go, and used it after me. So i check my balance. Only 68.59 in the account. Damnit still not enough to get it. Im Just about to Give up.

Then i called my dad to get his oppinion in things. I tell him that i couldnt trade that amp, and that they didnt have the model i wantedm, and that i didnt have enough money in the bank. He tells me that they are'nt that far from me, and that they will come buy and staiten everything out.

My dad gets there and we are able to trade in the old amy and get the new one. YAY! It is wicked awsum. It is the QSC RMX 1450. It can put out 1400 wats. It is a powerhouse. It is even better than Adam's.

After i got the amp i came home for a little less than an hour and then went to work.

It was so busy tonight. We had customers up the wazoo. i didn't think i was going to get out of there on time. It got so busy at some points that the front end manager, and store manager were cashiering and baggin, respectively. It was awsum though, it went buy so fast. YAY!

Well thats all for now: YOUR MOM.outie.caio

Everything Happens With Chocolate.

Thanks Dove.

Wow. i really haven't updated in a while. Not like anyone reads it so who cares.

last weekend Angie was here. it made me really happy. Fri. we went to rock 'n bowl, which was very fun. I don;t think Angie liked it though, cuz she thinks she sucks, even though she really isn't that bad. Then we came back here and Angie and her dad met my mom. That's good because not that she knows them, she will not mind me hanging around with her as much. That lasted until almost 2 A.M. Saturday i had work from 11-5, that was fun after staying up all night. Then i went to see Angie again. This made me happy. I stayed there until almost nidnight, she said i was so out of it. Even though i don't think i was. Watever i'm sure she was right. Sunday we an awsum party and Angie, Logan, lisa, and california(taren) came. That was a sweet night, for more than one reason, but im not going to get into that here. Mon. we had another party not as great.

This week was boreing as usual i hardly talked to Angie at all, i wasn't happy about that but water i'll live. She's very busy.

Last night i talked to california and her friend natalie. that was a lot of fun. Eccept for the fact that they cept me up until 2:30 A.M. i don;t think they realized how late it was here. I worke up this morning at 10 and had to go to work at 12, not a lot of time if you ask me.

Work was pretty good.... It was so funny though because mallisa put the reciept tape in her printer backwards, and she couldn't figure out why it would't work. She had to call the supervisor over. It was hillarious.

I got out of work at 5 and came home. I worked on a program i am writing for the store. That went better than i could have hoped for. I was very happy about that. I talked to natalie and worked on my blog. You will notice the new pictures in it. Such as this one. It is VERY kewl:

this is a test
